The Deepest Cut Review

This book, titled The deepest cut was written by J. A. Templeton. It’s a coming of age story about Reilly and her brother and her father who moved to Ireland after the death of her mother, and the events that take place once in Ireland. The love story between the protagonist Reilly and her love interest is a bit predictable, but well written just the same.

The book has themes of love, acceptance, grief, obsession, self mutilation-cutting, and of the paranormal to name a few.

The imagery used was scant, but sufficient to carry the story along at those key points. The harrowing story of Reilly and her encounters with several ghosts, and mediums empower her in the end and is definitely a recommend for those interested in stories of the paranormal, and suspense genre.
