Imagine a book that takes every plot twist that you though of an ignored it in favour of another. This book had me second guessing my conclusions so many times, it was a struggle to pause reading from the book. The suspense, the themes of human trafficking, abduction, assassination, and neu-science.
The story centres around a young Chinese girl trafficked into the US, and the FBI agent that appears to be her doppelganger, while looking at team that brought her into the country, and those intent on making her disappear -pun intended. The book is an investigation into where she came from and the story behind her existence.
I’d definitely recommend this book to all my friends interested in suspense, thriller, edge of your seat page turners.
